Bath and Body Works Semi-Annual Sale Summer 2014 Stock up to Save

Bath and Body Works Semi-Annual Sale for summer 2014 will begin June 9th. This sale lasts approximately a month long and features (usually) the lowest prices of the season.  I take this time and SPEND to SAVE later on.  I stock up on the body creams because the lotions just don't do it for my skin.  I also stock up on the wall flowers, and other misc. items to give for gifts.  I buy now, and give at Christmas time!  These items make great gifts for co-workers, Moms, Sisters, mother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, teachers, bus drivers, etc!

I did buy my wallflowers early this season though.  I have been tracking the wall flower prices for about a year now and the lowest price I can catch them for is $2.  Sometimes during the Semi-Annual Sale I can catch a particular scent for lower than that, but generally speaking, $2 is the lowest.  I grabbed 10 today for $3 each.  I used a spend $30 get $10 off coupon (from my e-mail) making my total $20 plus tax.  I added the wall flowers to my "Scent basket" to keep all my fragrances together.

The summer is also the best time for me to stock up on my wall flowers because I love fruity and fresh scents.  I hate woodsy, heavy, cotton, cinnamon, spices, fall scents, etc.  The scents I grabbed today were:
  • Pomelo Grapefruit
  • Honeysuckle
  • Island Margarita
  • Island Waters (for my mom)
  • Bloom
  • Lemon Mint Leaf (2)
  • Watermelon Lemonade (2)
  • Garden Party

Below is a glimpse of my Bath and Body Works Shelf (all left from last Winter's Semi-Annual Sale).

How I estimate how much to buy: If I go through 1 body cream a month, I will need at least 6 body creams until the next sale. I have 5, so I will need 1 more.  Also, the Secret Wonderland fragrance in the front will probably be a gift, so I will probably need 2 more.

I use about 2 bottles of soap a month (one for bathroom and one for kitchen).  I have 8 bottles, so I will need 6 more bottles to last me until January.
Also, I go through about 1 hand sanitizer per month (at school for the kids).  I have 4, so I will not need any since we will be on break soon for the summer.  BTW this is a great gift for teachers!!
See the soap in the baggie?  That was a gift from a student this Christmas.  I was so happy to receive a gift I knew I would really use.
Mark your calendars to stock your linen closets like I do! June 9th!
P.S. Always use their coupons! I got the Country Chic travel shower gel in the top pic for free, just by using the "Get a free travel sized item with any purchase" coupon.  What's even better is I already had the Country Chic lotion for free...
